Later in the beginning 80s Laboratory Instruments were added to the product portfolio. Agaram were the dealers for Bausch & Lomb UV-Vis Spectrophotometer's and a record was created in the number of double-beam spectrophotometers sold in a single calendar year. In collaboration with a Japanese Company manufacturing of HPLC was also started. As Agaram grew branch offices to cover the entire India were started and Agaram started representing world-renowned brands. As India witnessed a boom in the software exports, Agaram wanted to capitalize on the available talent and began software operations under the banner Agaram Instruments (P) Ltd.. in the year 1996. This was later renamed as Agaram Technologies (P) Ltd.
